For homebuyers, it means affordable, eco-friendly housing. For Nigeria, it means progress toward a greener future,&#8221; Adeoye stated.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">REDAN&#8217;s ESG Committee Driving Change&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To accelerate this vision, REDAN established an ESG Committee in 2024, tasked with:\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developing sustainable real estate frameworks\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conducting industry audits\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Engaging stakeholders to promote ESG compliance\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Olusola Enitan, Chairman of the REDAN ESG Committee, highlighted the committee\u2019s achievements:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Development of the Nigerian Real Estate ESG Handbook (set for launch in April)\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Capacity-building programs to train developers on ESG implementation\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strategic partnerships with key stakeholders to drive advocacy\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&nbsp;Upcoming Initiatives &amp; Call for Collaboration&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The committee has outlined an ambitious 2024 agenda, including:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sustainability Conference in partnership with the Mortgage Bankers Association of Nigeria (MBAN)\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Publication of an annual ESG performance report\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nationwide training programs for real estate developers\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;We urge all developers to prioritize ESG in their projects.
